Amazing, I thought to myself while working with this new invention, the cotton gin, it was amazing that someone could invent such a machine. It helps us so much, it takes the cotton and takes out the seeds. It was invented by a man who goes by the name of Eli Whitlney. He patented it on March 14, 1794.
To be a nation means to be unified. To be unified means to be ran by the same government, to have the same laws. Though states have separate laws of their own laws we are still run by one government. States interest should not be put over the nations interest.
